Why Journaling is So Good for You- Join us tomorrow!

Another post from me today, Paulette

If you’be been with me for any time now, taken a class, a workshop, listened to my podcast, or just know me, you know that I am a HUGE fan of journaling. In some ways, journaling has helped me heal, helped me grow and get clarity, helped me find my poetic and writing voice, and in general just been a great release! It has also surprised me in so many ways to see what comes out of my head…

Journaling is a great way to de-stress, reflect on your life, and improve your mental health. It can also be a helpful tool for goal setting, problem-solving, and creativity.

And that’s what I’m talking about! I’ve been teaching writing and journaling now for several years, online and in person, and I call From the Body to the Page, my writing classes, because to me those words flow out of us, out of our body, our brain, our heart and soul, when we allow them to flow. To the page, down our arms and out our fingers… and what fun that can be… an exploration of words…

Plus, I always say, thoughts become words become things… finding clarity with what you are truly wanting to say, to create, to do, to change.

Lately I’ve been teaching this once-a-month, two-hour journaling class on Zoom on Saturday mornings ( 9:30 am PST) and we explore our words in several different ways, with prompts, story line, character studies, themes, and more. And what fun we have, taking that personal time to focus and write, and then read aloud ( if you desire) and listen to each others inspired bits of writing. It has been magical and transformational for the small intimate group of writers, writers of all levels, no experience required!

Perhaps you would like to join us tomorrow and experience how your words can flow through you!
