So I share a bit of writing love for you today…

Dont ever forget to begin!

Swimming upstream but downriver

It’s time for a swim, my muse said

Go with the flow, she reminds me

The lower root of the river beckons

In its dark cavernous walls

The female cave calls and expands

For another deep dive

Don the googles first

I paddle in, slowly

Getting reacquainted with the sensuous curves

The tingly bits of pleasure

Feeling rooted, grounded, strong

With that moving upstream feeling

Yet down river

Finding the bridges of connection

And counting backwards from seven

A barrage of colors waft over and hit me

My fiery passion lights up

She’s on fire, I sing to her

Then, knocked sideways from the power

As I swim sidestroke

Into the core of the river

Which has a wall of rocks

Intense in its protection

Surrounding the heart
