Are you feeling soulless?

Are you feeling soulless? I think it is going around….this pandemic time is straining so many of us.

It’s like feeling empty, and like you don’t know what to do next? Which way to turn? Which project to focus on? I feel like this sometimes, in my continuous business building as well as my personal life. It happens. I question what I’m feeling or what I’m working on. Which means it is a good time for quiet time, reflection, and often asking for some guidance.

It’s good to ask yourself what has changed? Which direction do you need to go next? And who are you working for? Is this work meaningful anymore? Is there something I would rather do?

For me, as a coach, I always want to work with my perfect clients — called your ICA, or your Ideal customer avatar. This could be your students, your customers, the ones who want what you do, and who want and are ready to do the work to make the changes. You want to make sure you are reaching the right people with the problems that you help solve. The right customers for your shop, the right clients for your paintings, the right dancers for your class. Right? Because if you are connecting with people who have no interest in what you do, then it can feel like you are spinning your wheels and abusing your time and skills. Who wants to waste time like that?

I want to make sure what I have to offer is of value, to the right person. In my work as a creativity business coach, I help women creatives release the old stories that are stopping them from moving forward, and guide them to rewriting their desires into their lives. From that soulless feeling to stepping into their creative abundance ( as I write about it my latest book). This can be in their personal life, and also in their creative business dreams. Many of my clients have started their own businesses, successfully, changed careers to feeling more fulfilled, stepped into their money making skills, and super focused on their self-worth and how to create what they dream of. And that feels so good, for both of us, rewarding them for taking the time and steps for themselves, and for me doing the work that I’m really good at.

So… what do you do when you are feeling low, soulless, even lethargic?

First, I say, move your body!
